The lodge was in a quiet location but still within easy reach of Ypres and local facilities. The heater made the lodge cozy and comfortable, and the beds provided a great night's sleep. We also appreciated the availability of WIFI and the well-equipped kitchen. the lodge was perfect for our group of friends.

Felt very well taken care of, no complaints.

We had an amazing stay at this lodge. the accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way. the location was fantastic, just a short drive from the town. the lodge itself was comfortable and the kitchen was the best equipped self catering accommodation we have ever had. the owner was incredibly helpful and even allowed us to check in early. Our teenage sons were kept happy with the wifi.

    Nothing negative to say. 😊.

This cozy wooden house is perfect for a small group of friends or singles, like me. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathroom has a nice shower. The kitchen is a great addition for self-catering.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the single bathroom. But hey, that's just my opinion, others might still enjoy it.

The wooden chalet was absolutely mind-blowing, surrounded by beautiful trees and birdsong. The fully automated wood pellet stove kept us super warm, and the kitchen had all the cookware/utensils we needed. It was great to have a safe space for our bikes and borrow some for a short flat ride into town. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you for a jaw-droppingly amazing stay!

Amazingly peaceful lodge in a jaw-dropping setting surrounded by Scottish woods. Perfect base for exploring World War I sites, with easy access to Ypres and local amenities. Cozy and rustic accommodation with excellent heating, comfy beds, and all the necessary facilities including wi-fi, flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and well-equipped kitchen. Our daughters absolutely loved it, both inside and out, and enjoyed cycling and playing board games. Free parking available and superb communication with the owners. Great base for exploring Flanders and easy access to key locations. Loved the cozy and rustic accommodation, perfect for a peaceful retreat. the lodge is nestled in a quiet forest, away from any urban noise, allowing for a relaxing stay. the communication with the owners was excellent and they provided us with freshly laid eggs for breakfast. the facilities and cooking equipment in the lodge were top-notch, and we also appreciated having bicycles available for use in the garage. a lovely and highly recommended stay.

The lack of an oven in the lodge, which limited our cooking options. It would have been nice to have the convenience of an oven.

The value for our money at the lodge was excellent, and the room provided a comfortable and peaceful stay. The location gave us the tranquility we were looking for, while still being conveniently close to the attractions we wanted to visit. The staff, especially Dries, were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.

Breakfast items could have been better with a wider selection.

We absolutely loved our recent stay in a log cabin nestled in a secluded wooded area. the peacefulness and tranquility of the surroundings were just what we needed for a relaxing holiday. the location was perfect - just a short drive away from the main town and attractions. It was so convenient to explore the area and visit the World War I cemeteries and memorials. the cabin itself was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a self-catering stay. the kitchen was impressively well-equipped, exceeding our expectations. We also appreciated the excellent Wi-Fi, which kept our teenage kids happily connected.

There were only a couple of minor drawbacks during our stay. the toilet door required a little lift to shut it properly, but it didn't affect our overall experience.
